Simulate a Google search query as if you were in another country

As a PPC marketer targetting multiple geographic regions, testing your ads can be difficult since they won't show up if you're not in the designated country, region or city. For example, you might be working from the United States, but you also want to target consumers in the United Kingdom. Simply running your query on google.co.uk won't do the trick since Google doesn't rely only on the TLD, but also on your IP address to determine your location.

Luckily, there is a work-around for this problem. You can easily append parameters to the URL;

ip
Simulate a specific IP address. For example: 214.29.40.233
gl
Simulate the country of origin. For example: GB, US, NL, FR
gr
Simulate the region of origin. For example: US-CA for California
gc
Simulate the city of origin. For example: ON-CA
gcs
Simulate the city name of origin. For example: New%20York
gll
Simulate the GPS coordinates of origin. For example: 37304332,-121393872
gpc
Simulate the US 'ZIP/postal code of origin. For example:
hl
Simulate the language preference. For example: en, fr, nl

Using the previously mentioned example, we could get the Adwords for UK-residents to display from any location by typing the following URL in the address bar: http://www.google.co.uk/search?gl=GB&hl=en&q=clothing
